We have spent the last twenty years watching our boys grow up spending many happy Summers at Villa Elvira and recently took the decision to completetly modernise villa/ gardens (completed May 2018) and let others share in our secret .....if the stay brings you half the joy it's brought us over the years you'll not go far wrong.

As the saying goes it's all about LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION !  Villa Elvira is located just metres from the beach in the ever popular Elviria district of Marbella in Spain's famous Costa del Sol.

Picnic on the beach ? No need to pack up the car, fight for car parking space, and then worry about uncomfortable wet/sandy swimming costume drives back, you can just walk out the door in beachwear and youll be on the beach within two minutes. Fancy a day away from the beach why not have a barbecue with family / friends dine al fresco under the garden pergola and dip in the pool to freshen up if it gets too hot.

Keep fit your thing ? Long walks along the Real de Zaragoza beach, one of the best in the region, is on your doorstep.

More active ? The Beach Club by Vincci has a luxurious Spa, gym/health club which provides weekly passes and is only a five minute walk away.

Jet skis, banana boats and pedalos are all available to hire close by.

Golf ? You'll note the signs along the motorway when you visit "Costa del sol, Costa del Golf" it really does live up to it's name. There are at least ten superb courses within a 20 minutes drive of your front door. Fancy driving a little further for something truly special ? Within an hour you could be at Sotogrande, La Quinta and Valderrama !

Foodie ? Two of the very top restaurants, The Playwright and La Scala restaurant, in the 1000 plus restaurants listed by trip advisor in the Marbella area are within walking distance. 

Personally we love the stroll along the beach in the evening for a drink or something to eat at La Plage by Casanis or at the Beach house, lovely indoor/outdoor restaurants on the beach. Fancy a burger and a pint ? The Lido "chiringuito" hits the spot. Special mention to the recently opened "La Scala" lovely setting, great cocktails, great food !

The famous Nikki Beach resort, is also a short walk along the beach with it's restaurants, bars,swimming pools and chic clientele.

All this very close at hand whilst based in a quiet villa where you can choose to have a night in, open a bottle of wine, relax on the roof terrace and take in the "twinkling" of the lights along the coast of Marbella town round to Gibraltar, or fishing boats out at sea, or the starry night sky above,  whilst listening to the waves lapping up on the beach......heaven !
